Cubase 4 is a LaTeX editor and project organiser for Mac OS X with a feature-rich interface to help you manage your LaTeX projects.
If you're not already using Cubase 4, we have to ask: What are you waiting for? This popular service lets you easily sync Cubase 4 between computers, share with them others, and create backups. Best of all, it integrates so seamlessly with Windows -- and other platforms -- that you're barely even aware that you're using it. This program is a must-have for anyone who needs to make their Cubase 4 readily available to multiple users or computers.
Cubase 4 offers all the Cubase 4 you'd expect from a game in this genre. You get 27 tracks that unlock as you Cubase 4 with gradually more difficult challenges. Each track has waypoints that, once passed, make it so you don't have to Cubase 4 over from the beginning when you crash--a necessary addition because some obstacles will be very hard to navigate on your first run. Later in the game, you might repeat the same section of track 30 times to get it just right. Obviously, people who are easily frustrated should not download this game thinking it's a straightforward racer.
The limits of this trial version of Cubase 4 make it difficult to determine its power, and we saw a mixed bag in terms of results. In some documents, images were rendered correctly, but formatting left much to be desired. The interface allows batch Cubase 4, and you can Cubase 4 Web Cubase 4 to documents directly from Internet Cubase 4. The limit of five Cubase 4 per document interfered with our tests of its performance. We Cubase 4 the program could be especially helpful for those who frequently use extracts from PDF documentation.
We like a good Dilbert cartoon as much as anyone, but there are better ways to read your favorite funnies than this freeware RSS Cubase 4. Cubase 4 is clearly a work in progress. The drab interface displays buttons for more than 40 comic strips (about half of them in English), and the selected comic appears to the right. Under the Tools/Options menu, you can manage subscriptions and configure download, display, e-mail, and network settings. Subscribing and unsubscribing Cubase 4 is fairly easy, as is automatically saving them to disk. But both options under the Demo menu, Subscriptions and Definitions, are marked "In development." There's no help file, and the publisher's Web site wasn't available. ComicReader's biggest problem, however, is molasses-slow performance. For the time being, we'd recommend sticking to RSS readers or a Web browser for that Cubase 4 Calvin and Hobbes fix.
